Chocolate Malted Cupcakes

Today's cupcake was just plain fun!  We had LOTS of extra helpers/tasters today, and that made for a fabulous day.  We invited last weeks tasters to help, and then on a spur of the moment, we had our old boss Terri and her son Dylan stop by too!  So much craziness!
We used a powdered Malted Milk from Carnation to give it the malted flavor, which was subtle, but still tasty!  The hit of this cupcake was the Fluffy Vanilla Frosting, which got two thumbs up from all who tried it.  We even let the little ones decorate their own, with a variety of different sprinkles!

The last picture is of our new packaging.  I know some of you had grown quite fond of the recycled Tupperware, but Tee found these cute and affordable (.12 cents each) cupcake boxes online, so we have stepped up our game.  We are working on a swanky little logo to tie it all together and we will be good to go!

As always, if you find a yummy treat on your doorstep, leave us a message here or on Facebook, and feel free to recycle the box back to us, and we would be more than happy to fill it back up, and drop it back off!

Next up, Lemon-Yogurt Cupcakes with Raspberry Jam!  Ohh, la, la!

Until then,

  1. The cupcakes and boxes are the cutest little things! We love malt at our house. It is our favorite ice cream dresser-upper, or taster-upper rather.
I can't wait to see the official packaging once you get your labels and everything. Fancy schmancy.
